Groundhogs cause considerable damage in a few
different ways:
Groundhogs are vegetarians. They will eat flowers,
vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants.
Adult groundhogs consume between a pound and
one and a half pounds of vegetation each day!
They can decimate a garden in only a day or two!
Groundhogs also undermine concrete driveways,
sidewalks, and even foundations with their extensive
digging and burrowing. These burrows can be as long as
25 feet in length and several feet below the surface!
Stepping in groundhog holes have caused broken legs in
people as well as small animals and larger livestock.
Woodchucks weigh between 4 and 14 pounds!
The majority of our woodchuck trapping
involves using special traps designed to
catch only the woodchuck that you called
us to catch.
Our special cage style traps will not catch
the neighbor’s cat, or any other animal
that wanders by.
You pay only for the animal that you called
us to trap!

from choosing your property for years to come!
Whether you call them groundhogs or woodchucks, these animals will dig under driveways, sheds, garages,
in crawlspaces, and under decks. A groundhog will usually run when confronted but they have been known to
fiercly defend themselves.
Once the groundhog is successfully trapped and removed from the area, it is recommended that the holes that
the groundhog dug be permanently filled in. If these woodchuck holes are left open, another animal such as a
skunk might happen upon it and decide to take up residence!
Our trapping experts have removed groundhogs from Flushing Michigan, Grand Blanc Michigan, Flint Michigan
Swartz Creek Michigan, Linden Michigan, Burton Michigan, Clio Michigan and most other communities in
Genesee County Michigan!
