Just Like Winnie the Pooh, this raccoon got his nose stuck in a jar!
It took two of our Wildlife Experts to remove the jar. The raccoon was angry, scared, and running away as fast as his legs would carry him!
We kept the jar! We keep screws and washers in it now!

Wild Animals, Treated with Care
Humane Capture Methods
Nuisance Animal Control is highly regulated and scientifically monitored by professional wildlife biologists within Wildlife Division of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment. We follow all laws and regulations to ensure that the most humane methods are used and that the population is never endangered.
Advanced Wildlife Control LLC has spent thousands of dollars to purchase the best equipment for the work that we perform. This equipment is the safest, and most reliable equipment for the benefit of the animal and the welfare of the wildlife control expert. We strive for quick catches and removal of unwanted wildlife. The utmost care is taken so that the animals that we handle are presented with the least stressful situation possible.
A Frequently Asked Question: What do you do with this animal?
We hate killing animals. It’s a terrible situation. Unless there is a very good reason (disease, severe illness, or non-rehabilitating injury) we strive to translocate the problem animal to a site that is less condusive to their nuisance activities. We own several of these release sites and have permission to release wild animals on various other private acreages.
On the occasion that an animal must be euthanized, we strictly follow the AVMA guidelines on euthanasia.
The term euthanasia is derived from the Greek terms “eu” meaning good and “thanatos” meaning death.
This is is categorized as an act that occurs with minimal pain and distress, as mandated by the AMVA guidelines.
